Agrostion alpinae Jeník et al. 1980

This alliance of alpine basiphilous grassland is endemic to the Krkonoše and Hrubý Jeseník Mountains. It occurs on steep rocky slopes in glacial cirques, where it is confined to outcrops of base-rich rocks, such as crystalline limestone, erlan, porphyrite and basalt.

Diagnostic species: Agrostis alpina, Allium schoenoprasum, Anemone narcissiflora, Asplenium viride, Bartsia alpina, Calluna vulgaris, Campanula bohemica, C. rotundifolia agg. (Campanula rotundifolia subsp. sudetica), Carex atrata s. l., C. capillaris, Dianthus superbus, Festuca supina, F. versicolor, Galium saxatile, Hedysarum hedysaroides, Hieracium villosum, Huperzia selago, Minuartia corcontica, Parnassia palustris, Phyteuma orbiculare, Primula minima, Pulsatilla alpina subsp. austriaca, Rosa pendulina, Saxifraga oppositifolia, Scabiosa lucida, Sedum alpestre, Selaginella selaginoides, Swertia perennis, Thesium alpinum, Thymus alpestris, T. pulcherrimus subsp. sudeticus, Viola biflora; Bryum schleicheri, Cladonia digitata, Hymenostylium recurvirostre, Lejeunea cavifolia, Racomitrium heterostichum, R. sudeticum, Sanionia uncinata, Stereocaulon nanodes, Tortella tortuosa

Constant species: Allium schoenoprasum, Anemone narcissiflora, Asplenium viride, Avenella flexuosa, Bartsia alpina, Calamagrostis villosa, Calluna vulgaris, Campanula rotundifolia agg.
