Sedo albi-Allietum montani

This association includes dry, open grasslands dominated by Allium senescens subsp. montanum on outcrops of limestone or base-rich siliceous rocks. It occurs on the volcanic hills of the České středohoří in northern Bohemia and in river valleys of central Bohemia and the south-eastern fringes of the Bohemian Massif.

Diagnostic species: Berberis vulgaris; Acinos arvensis, Allium senescens subsp. montanum, Aurinia saxatilis subsp. arduini, Centaurea stoebe, Festuca pallens, Jovibarba globifera subsp. globifera, Melica transsilvanica, Sedum acre, S. album, Seseli osseum, Stachys recta, Thymus pannonicus; Syntrichia ruralis

Constant species: Acinos arvensis, Allium senescens subsp. montanum, Centaurea stoebe, Euphorbia cyparissias, Festuca pallens, Melica transsilvanica, Potentilla arenaria, Sedum acre, S. album, Seseli osseum, Stachys recta, Teucrium chamaedrys; Ceratodon purpureus, Syntrichia ruralis

Dominant species: Allium senescens subsp. montanum
