This is an endemic association of Sesleria caerulea grasslands occurring on serpentine outcrops in the middle Jihlava valley in south-western Moravia. It contains some serpentine specialists such as Asplenium cuneifolium. Most of the formerly grazed stands have been overgrown by encroaching pine, and all that is left are some small patches in canopy openings.
