Tolypello intricatae-Charetum

Vegetation dominated by Tolypella intricata occurs in mesotrophic to eutrophic, base-rich water. In the Czech Republic it has so far been recorded only at three sites in central and eastern Bohemia, namely in small fishponds and in a flooded pit.

Syn.: Charo-Tolypelletum intricatae Corillion 1957 (fantom)

Diagnostic species: Potamogeton lucens. Sparganium erectum, Tolypella intricata

Constant species: Sparganium erectum, Tolypella intricata

Dominant species: Tolypella intricata

Formal definition: Tolypella intricata cover > 25 %
