Immobilization of bioactive compounds onto polymer, metal, ceramic, and glass substrate surfaces has seen rapid growth in such industries as biomedical, textiles, microelectronics, bioprocessing and food packaging.
The proposed dissertation work is aimed on the development of simple and low-cost plasma-assisted methods for the substrate surface modification based preferably on DCSBD and plasma-jet techniques.
