This two-years lasting study program Geology prepare highly educated specialists in geological branches, such as environmental geology, geophysics, geochemistry, historical geology, hydrogeology, mineralogy, magmatic and metamorphic petrology, paleontology, quarternary geology and karsology, regional geology, sedimentary geology, soil mechanics and tectonics. During the study they specialize in three chosen branches where they deepen their theoretical and practical knowledge.

Graduate Profile

Consequential master study programme Geology gives hole university qualification in different geological specializations, that attendant choose and modify according to their future and asks in state exam. Graduates are prepare to solve independently special geology problems, they have knowledges of special terrain and laboratory methods, they know foreign languages. On the base of their research they can public some work and present their results by oral or written way. They can find jobs in basic or applied research of state or resort character, at universities, companies, special laboratories, etc. They can own independent research work and solve complex problems. Some of graduates can continue in Ph.D. study.
