Polar ecology course - geosciences (NF-CZ07-ICP-1-032-2014) is supported by the Norway grants programme under the chapter of  Bilateral Scholarship Programme (CZO7). It is a cooperative project between Masaryk University (Institute of Geography) and University Centre in Svalbard. Duration of the project is one year within two field courses will be carried out in Svalbard with participation of both Czech and Norse students. The main goal of the project is to interlink the two communities by a joint fieldwork in the extreme environment of the Arctic. New experiences are to be gained and new collaboration between individual students from participating institutions are supported.
