Field trip

List of field trip localities is available

Post-symposium field trip will be organized on June 23-25, 2003 on localities of rock-forming minerals containing light elements :

• tourmalines, micas, garnets, dumortierite, staurolite, titanite, cordierite, beryl, vesuvianite, amphiboles

in diverse geological environments :

• granite, orthogneiss, barren pegmatite, complex pegmatite, migmatite, gneiss, Ca-skarn, Fe-skarn, marble in the Moldanubicum and the Kutná Hora Crystalline Complex

The localities are situated in the western Moravia and Central Bohemia (Kutná Hora), Czech Republic.
