Abstract

Laboratory device for separation of fine bentonite fractions was designed. The device works on the principle of repeated sedimentation. The device can work on the two operating modes - repeated separation of fractions from the same bentonite sample or successive treatment of several samples. Technical realisation is a compromise between the cost and effectivity, nevertheless it allows obtaining of fine fractions from bentonites at minimum time consumption.
