Swertietum perennis Zlatník 1928

Swertietum perennis

This association includes subalpine spring vegetation developing on soils with higher organic content compared to the association Crepido paludosae-Philonotidetum seriatae. Herb layer is richer in species, mostly dominated by Swertia perennis and Allium schoenoprasum. This vegetation occurs only in the Krkonoąe and Hrubý Jeseník Mountains.

Diagnostic species: Aconitum plicatum, Allium schoenoprasum, Bartsia alpina, Bistorta major. Carex echinata. C. flava. Chaerophyllum hirsutum. Crepis paludosa. Hedysarum hedysaroides. Molinia caerulea s. l. (M. caerulea s. str.), Pedicularis sudetica. Selaginella selaginoides, Swertia perennis, Trichophorum alpinum. T. cespitosum. Trollius altissimus. Veratrum album subsp. lobelianum, Viola biflora; Aneura pinguis, Blindia acuta, Dichodontium palustre, Dicranoweisia crispula. Fissidens osmundoides. Palustriella commutata. Philonotis fontana, P. seriata, Racomitrium fasciculare, Scapania uliginosa, S. undulata

Dominant species: Aconitum plicatum, Allium schoenoprasum, Crepis paludosa, Deschampsia cespitosa; Blindia acuta, Palustriella commutata, Philonotis seriata, Scapania uliginosa, S. undulata
