Alchemillo hybridae-Poëtum supinae

These are low-growing perennial grasslands dominated by Poa supina found on mesic to slightly wet soils on paths and other trampled habitats in the montane belt of the Czech mountain ranges. Although they are not very common, their distribution is probably larger than reflected by the existing relevés.

Nomen inversum propositum et nomen mutatum propositum

Orig. (Aichinger 1933): Poa annua subsp. varia-Alchemilla hybrida-Assoziation (Poa annua subsp. varia ~ Poa supina)

Diagnostic species: Carex ovalis, Plantago major, Poa supina, Sagina procumbens, Veronica serpyllifolia

Constant species: Agrostis capillaris, Carex ovalis, Deschampsia cespitosa, Plantago major, Poa annua, P. supina, Ranunculus acris, R. repens, Sagina procumbens, Trifolium repens, Veronica serpyllifolia

Dominant species: Poa supina

Formal definition: Poa supina cover > 25 % NOT Tripleurospermum inodorum cover > 5 %
