Polygalacturonic acid* (or pectin) 4.6 g Yeast extract 5 g Proteose peptone No.3 5 g K2HPO4 5 g Sodium thioglycolate 5 g Agar (if needed) 20 g Distilled water 1000 ml pH 7.5 *Dissolve polygalacturonic acid in small amounts of distilled water neutralized with 10% NaOH to pH 7.2. Mix intensively.
