Additional information: "zig-zag" arrangement. Genetic properties (7377,7379). Transparent with purple center pigment. Gene transfer agents overproducer derived from BB103 by nitrosoguanidine mutagenesis. BB103 strain is spontaneous streptomycine-resistant (Marrs 1978).
