Potato extract 500 ml
Sucrose 20 g
Agar 20 g
Distilled water 500 ml
Potato extract is prepared from 200 g potatoes
peeled and diced and suspended in muslin in 500 ml
of water and boiled for 10 min. Water and potato
extract are mixed together and sucrose and agar
added. If necessary, pH is adjusted to 6.5 with
CaCO3.
Autoclave at 121°C for 20 min.
