In connection with the implementation of the contract between MU and JCMM for the payment of scholarships A.7 according to Measure No. 7/2019 of the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University, we publish a passage of the contract related to the conditions of possible termination and interruption of the provision of support to scholarship holders: ARTICLE IV TERMINATION AND INTERRUPTION OF FINANCIAL AID 1. The supported scholarship holder may have his/her financial support terminated early with the written consent of both parties, i.e. JCMM and MU. 2. The supported scholarship holder may be further terminated from the month following the month in which this occurred in the following cases: A) If the scholarship holder has worse academic results in the second and subsequent years of study than the top 40 % of students in the same study programme, B) If the scholarship holder extends his/her studies beyond the standard period of study for the type of study in question, C) If the scholarship holder interrupts his/her studies, except in the case where the student interrupts for a maximum of 1 semester for medical reasons and substantiates this fact by a report from a doctor; in this case, he/she is entitled to receive financial aid again after the interruption of studies 3. A supported scholarship holder may have his/her financial support interrupted if he/she travels abroad to another university for a period of 3 months or more and receives a grant or scholarship for this stay. In such a case, he/she will not be paid financial support from JCMM or MU for the duration of this foreign stay. The scholarship holder will be entitled to financial support again from the moment of his/her return from the foreign university and continuation of his/her studies at MU. In the case of a foreign placement for which the scholarship recipient did not receive a grant or scholarship, he/she is still entitled to financial support from the JCMM or MU. 4. If the student is also receiving a government scholarship* from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, he/she automatically ceases to be eligible for financial support from the JCMM, or in subsequent years from MU. Other scholarships and financial gifts received by the scholarship recipient have no effect on the provision of support under this agreement.
