Ceremonial Presentation of the Masaryk University Bronze Medal
On 15 December 2025, the Masaryk University Bronze Medal was ceremonially presented at the Museum of Applied Arts in Brno. The award was presented by Tomáš Kašparovský, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Martin Bareš, Rector of Masaryk University, and Luděk Bláha, the incoming Dean of the Faculty.
The Masaryk University Bronze Medal is awarded to university staff members who have achieved outstanding results and made significant contributions to the development of higher education and the university. The leadership of Masaryk University decided to confer the Bronze Medal on Assoc. Prof. Marie Kummerová in recognition of her long-term outstanding contributions. Assoc. Prof. Kummerová is a member of our department.
