The Laboratory of Persistent Organic Pollutants deals with the effects of environmental pollution on plants. In addition to toxic metals and organic pollutants (especially PAHs), attention is currently also paid to the effect of pharmaceuticals, especially on biochemical and physiological processes that determine plant growth and development.
