I. New Successful Projects
Prof. Tomáš Řezník (Dept. of Geography) became part of a new collaborative HORIZON EUROPE project SoilWise (An open access knowledge and data repository to safeguard soils) coordinated by Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Belgium.
Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Králík (Dept. of Anthropology) has received funding for a project in the NAKI III program of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic entitled "Mapping the community dynamics of Anabaptist population in Moravia in the 16th and 17th centuries." The project will enable the creation of an expert database and an interactive map of Moravian New Baptist settlements.
Dr. Lukáš Dolák (Dept. of Geography) has received funding from Interreg Central Europe (2021-2027) for a project "Central European Toolbox for Mitigating Combined Consequences of Drought, Heatwaves, and Fire Weather through Regionally Tuned Forecasting".
Prof. Andrea Vetešníková Šimková (Dept. of Botany and Zoology) and Dr. Aleš Stýskalík (Dept. of Chemistry) were successful in the INTER-EXCELLENCE, INTER-ACTION (USA)
5 new grants supported by TAČR (Technology Leaders sub-programme) will be realized at Faculty of Science from Q1 2023: Prof. Luděk Bláha (RECETOX), Prof. Petra Vašina, Assoc. Prof. Pavel Souček (both Dept. of Physical Electronics), Dr. Pavlína Janovská (Dept. of Exp. Biology), Dr. Ondřej Caha (Dept. of Condensed Matter Physics)
