I. Successful Projects

Dr. Csilla Pelyhe (RECETOX) has received Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship for the project called “Exploring the PFAS alternatives-induced immunotoxicity and impact on intercellular communication“. The project begins on 1. September 2025. Supervisor is Mgr. Ondřej Adamovský, Ph.D.

Dr. Pavla Fialová (RECETOX) has received Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship for the project called “Global Distribution Assessment of Contaminants of Emerging Concern in the Aquatic Environment“. The project will start on 1. November 2025. Supervisor is doc. Ing. Branislav Vrana, PhD.

prof. RNDr. Petr Klán, Ph.D. (RECETOX) has received the GA CR LA project with the German agency DFG entitled “Photocontrol of RNA Activity with Red Light Using Cyclic Tethers“. The project will start on 1. October 2025.

GA CR LA (GA CR as a partner organisation)

  • Ongoing calls for Bilateral grant projects with the following partner agencies: FWF (Austria), DFG (Germany). More information available HERE. Faculty deadline: two weeks before submission (for budget control).
  • Bilateral grant projects with Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). More information available HERE. Deadline: 8.10.2025 (in Switzerland 1.10.2025) (Faculty deadline: 17.9.2025).

  • 3rd Call THÉTA 2 - Program for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation. PP1: Research in the public interest, PP2: Energy technologies for competitiveness, PP3: Technologies to ensure long-term energy sustainability.
    More information available HERE. Deadline: 15. 10. 2025 (Faculty deadline: 1. 10. 2025). It is necessary to create a project proposal in ISEP as soon as possible, stating the number assigned by SISTA. Contact person: Kateřina Páleníková Fialová.

MU - CTT

  • 2nd CTT call for sub-projects Proof of Concept (PoC) TA CR SIGMA - Verification of applied research results in terms of their practical application and preparation for subsequent commercial use or use for the needs of society. The call is not limited in terms of subject matter. More information available HERE. Deadline: 6. 10. 2025 (Faculty deadline: 22. 9. 2025). Contact person: Kateřina Páleníková Fialová.

GAMU

  • Career Restart: This grant scheme supports integration of researchers after a career break, for instance due to parental leave, long term illness or long-term care of close person into Masaryk University research teams. More information available HERE. Deadline: 10.10.2025 (Faculty deadline: 01.10.2025).
  • MASH: The main aim of the grant is to bring excellent and successful external researchers to MU and to offer them such conditions that they are motivated to stay, work for MU and to attain exceptionally high-quality research results on the long-term basis. The call is open in 2 categories: MASH; MASH StG/CoG. More information available HERE.  Deadline: 5.12.2025 (Faculty deadline: 26.11.2025).
  • HORIZONS: International Grants Arrangements. The support is intended for costs associated with the preparation of extremely prestigious and important projects of international donors (e.g. European Commission programmes).   • MSCA Choose Europe for Science 2025: initiative promotes Europe as an attractive destination for global research talent.   • MSCA Staff Exchanges 2025: MSCA Staff Exchanges involve organisations from the academic and non-academic sectors (including SMEs) from across the globe.   • MSCA Doctoral Networks 2025: funding initiative supporting creation of internationally connected doctoral training networks across Europe (and beyond), promoting excellence and intersectoral collaboration by engaging academic and non‑academic partners like industry, museums, libraries, or public agencies.   • Advanced Collaboration Grants (EMBO): funds the visits of 1 week to 6 months in the lab of collaborator in EMBO participating country to work on joint collaborative project with biological significance. More details are available HERE. Deadline: anytime.
  • ERC Proof of Concept Grants: The ERC Proof of Concept Grants aim at facilitating exploration of the commercial and social innovation potential of ERC funded research and are therefore available only to Principal Investigators whose proposals draw substantially on their ERC funded research. More details available HERE. Deadline 17.9.2025.
  • New EIC Work Programme 2025 published for EIC Pathfinder, Accelerator and Transition schemes, the former being the most promising for multi-disciplinary research teams to undertake visionary research with the potential to lead to technology breakthroughs (grants up to €4 million).   • EIC Transition: funds innovation activities that go beyond the experimental proof of principle in laboratory. It supports both the maturation and validation of your novel technology from the lab to the relevant application environments (by making use of prototyping, formulation, models, user testing or other validation tests) as well as explorations and development of a sustainable business case and business model towards commercialisation. TC PRAHA (HORIZON EUROPE)

 

Offer of cooperation in the CROSS project. Its aim is to support researchers at all stages of their careers in developing the skills needed to find employment outside academia. The project contributes to the implementation of the new European Charter for Researchers and supports institutions that work with or are seeking the HR Excellence in Research award.
