What does running a scientific station in the extreme conditions of Antarctica entail? Pavel Kapler, manager of the Czech Antarctic Research Program, presents the work of the scientific team and the challenges posed by organizing expeditions and running the station, to which Masaryk University has sent nearly two hundred researchers from more than fifty scientific disciplines.
