Competition of diploma theses focused on material sciences
Announcement of the 7th CRYTUR Award for the best diploma thesis in material sciences.

Financial prizes worth CZK 95,000 are prepared for authors and trainers of the three best works.
Submissions for material sciences completed in the academic year 2019/2020 with the expected date of defense in the period July 1, 2019 – June 30, 2020 can be applied.
The deadline for applications is May 15, 2020 (submission of DP can be postponed until May 31, 2020). The thesis must be prepared in Czech, Slovak or English language at any of the Czech or Slovak universities.

Although the city of Brno dropped to the lowest level (white colour) in the national traffic light of the risk of COVID-19 infection, the MU Crisis Staff decided that Masaryk University still has a green light rating.

Are you willing to help manage the coronavirus pandemic? We are looking for volunteers. Anyone who would like to help with babysitting or help provide for the needs of seniors can sign up. Those of you who have IT or other skills are needed as well. Students of the Faculty of Medicine will be utilized for special, professional purposes. We also welcome volunteers from outside Brno (including the public).
Positive test result and quarantine
In case of a positive test result, the local hygienic station provides further information and orders an isolation/quarantine – that is staying at home and not going out anywhere (even to go shopping or to the doctor’s).
