The admission fee is 650 CZK and is paid online upon submitting the electronic application form.
This fee can be paid by bank transfer or by card (recommened option) and without it, the application is not considered valid.

I am from a non-EU country

We will help you with documents needed for a visa application. Go through our visa process guide to know all the necessary details.

Visa process

My bachelor's degree is from foreign university, do I have to verify my education?

Yes! Please see all the necessary requirements for verification of foreign education.

Verification process

Can the entrance exam be waived?

No, it cannot be waived.

Can I get another entrance exam date?

It might be possible to switch the dates (for example: exams are held in two days, you are selected for day 1, but day 2 would suit you more because of some urgent issue – state exam, medical appointment, funeral, etc.). If you let us know in advance, we will be able to change this.

Otherwise, no, you cannot do the entrance exam earlier/later than it is announced. Exam dates are carefully selected so that both the Department and the Study department can process all the applications and allow students to start the visa process (if needed) as soon as possible.

Will I get any information about the entrance exam? When and how?

Sure, we will contact you by e-mail once the applications are closed, you will also see a notification in your e-application, and you will receive an e-mail invitation a few days before the exam.

Please, check your e-mail, including the spam folder!!!

If you miss your entrance exam because our e-mails will end up in a spam folder, we are sorry, you won’t be allowed to get a new exam date. It is published at several places, and we will do our best to contact you.

Can I apply if I study…?

You would be an eligible candidate if you completed a Bachelor degree (or will complete it in the next few months, before getting enrolled into studies), no matter in what programme/specialization.  Please note that all foreign education must be verified as an essential part of the enrolment into studies. More information here.

How can I pay the application fee?

After you submit your application, you will be prompted to pay the application fee. The cheapest way of doing so is by card (no additional charges - applies to payments made from Slovakia as well). If you cannot pay by card, select the payment by bank transfer. The System will provide you with the bank account number and your unique variable symbol identifier. Please use this information in your postal money order, payment order, or internet banking transaction document. We recommend paying the application fee by credit card because this option is associated with the minimum possible problems that may occur during a bank transfer (e.g. incorrect entry of a variable symbol, sending an incomplete amount, etc.).

When should I be in Brno?

The details will be shared with all accepted students.

Do I have to learn Czech?

No, you do not have to, but you can. MUNI offers several Czech courses; some are free of charge, and some are paid. There are also free courses at the Centre for Foreigners.Knowing the basics will also help you with your everyday life here in Brno.
