No, it cannot be waived.
It might be possible to switch the dates (for example: exams are held in two days, you are selected for day 1, but day 2 would suit you more because of some urgent issue – state exam, medical appointment, funeral, etc.). If you let us know in advance, we will be able to change this.
Otherwise, no, you cannot do the entrance exam earlier/later than it is announced. Exam dates are carefully selected so that both the Department and the Study department can process all the applications and allow students to start the visa process (if needed) as soon as possible.
Sure, we will contact you by e-mail once the applications are closed, you will also see a notification in your e-application, and you will receive an e-mail invitation a few days before the exam.
Please, check your e-mail, including the spam folder!!!
If you miss your entrance exam because our e-mails will end up in a spam folder, we are sorry, you won’t be allowed to get a new exam date. It is published at several places, and we will do our best to contact you.
You would be an eligible candidate if you completed a Bachelor degree (or will complete it in the next few months, before getting enrolled into studies), no matter in what programme/specialization. Please note that all foreign education must be verified as an essential part of the enrolment into studies. More information here.
After you submit your application, you will be prompted to pay the application fee. The cheapest way of doing so is by card (no additional charges - applies to payments made from Slovakia as well). If you cannot pay by card, select the payment by bank transfer. The System will provide you with the bank account number and your unique variable symbol identifier. Please use this information in your postal money order, payment order, or internet banking transaction document. We recommend paying the application fee by credit card because this option is associated with the minimum possible problems that may occur during a bank transfer (e.g. incorrect entry of a variable symbol, sending an incomplete amount, etc.).
