Adéla received the Dean’s Award for her excellent achievements in her Bachelor’s studies!

We are pleased to announce that Adéla Kubištová has been awarded the Dean’s Award in recognition of her excellent results during her Bachelor’s studies.
In her thesis research, Adéla investigated the mechanisms by which drugs targeting distinct mitochondrial components can selectively induce cell death in neuroblastoma, an aggressive pediatric malignancy.
Her findings contributed to a peer-reviewed publication in a high-impact journal (DOI: 10.1038/s41419-023-06278-x) and represent an important step toward the development of novel mitochondria-targeted therapeutic strategies for pediatric cancers.
