By a car:
From Prague, Olomouc, please use the D1 highway and take exit No. 194 (Brno-Centrum) to reach Brno. Then, follow the direction to city to the Mendlovo namesti (Mendel Square, city part Stare Brno see map. From the Mendel square (you must make a circle around the square) please follow along Hlinky street and turn right to Vinarska street (Conference center) see map

please use E461 motorway to reach Brno. Then, follow the direction to city to

Bratislava, Budapest, please reach Brno using the D2 highway and go straight ahead to the
city center following Hnevkovskeho and Plotni streets. Close to the Central bus
station (crossing of Plotni and
Zvonarka streets) take your turn left and follow (straight ahead) Opustena and
Porici streets. Then, take your turn right to reach the Mendlovo namesti (Mendel
Square, city part Stare Brno see map. From the Mendel square (you must make a circle
around the square) please follow along Hlinky street and turn right to Vinarska
street (Conference center) see
map.
By train:
Brno
is serviced by frequent train connections. From the Main Train Station, it is
easy to take tram No. 1 (direction to Bystrc) and reach the stop Lipova (about
15 min.). The Lipova stop is the 7th stop from the main train station (the third
stop after the Mendel square). The Lipova stop is situated along with the Trade
Fair Area. From the Lipova stop, it is a 250 m walk (unfortunately to a hill) to
reach Garni hotel and Conference center area - see
map).
By bus:
Majority
of international/national bus lines stops at CENTRAL BUS STATION (Zvonarka).
From the Central bus station, it is a 7 min walk to the Main Train Station from
which you can follow the instruction given above (by train). The tram stops are
located in front of the Main Train Station - see map.
Some
buses (especially those serviced by the Czech Airlines) stop in front of GRAND
HOTEL (city center). From this stop, it is just 2 min walk to the Main Train
Station. Then, please follow the instruction given at by train
By a plane
Unfortunately,
Brno is not well serviced by international flights. Majority of flights are
directed to Prague (capital of the Czech republic). Anyway, if you go to the
Brno airport, the easiest way is to take taxi from the airport to the Conference
center (Vinarska street).
If
you go to Prague Airport, the best way is to take coach bus (the Czech Airlines)
directly from the Prague airport to Brno (bus stop Hotel Grand) see
map.
