I. New Successful Projects

  • Prof. Jan Slovák (Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics) was awarded Horizon Europe project within MSCA Staff Exchange call. The international and intersectoral mobility of researchers planned with the CaLIGULA project fosters cross-fertilization of ideas within Cartan Geometry, Lie Theory, Integrable Systems and Quantum Groups. The project will start on 1.1.2023 and will last 4 years.
  • Associate Professor Tomáš Řezník (Dept. Of Geography) succeeded with his project proposal in the GAMU HORIZON competition. Thanks to the funding from this project, he will submit two Horizon Europe project proposals.

AKTION AT-CZ

  • Academic staff of public universities in the Czech Republic can apply for stays of 1 to 3 months. The monthly amount of the scholarship is 1.250 Eur. MISTI

  • MISTI (MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives) - seed fund supporting bilateral collaboration between Czech team and team from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) with deadline on 13.12.2022. More details available HERE.

 

HORIZON EUROPE

  • ERC Starting: supports excellent early career scientists (2-7 years since PhD defence) and their teams to pursue groundbreaking high-risk / high-gain research. You can apply for up to 1,5 mil. EUR for 5 years. Deadline 25.10.2022. More information available HERE.
  • ERC Synergy: support for 2-4 PIs with distinct expertise to tackle ambitious research problems taking advantage of unique synergy. Max. project budget is 10 mil. EUR for max. duration of 6 years. Deadline 8.11.2022. More information available HERE.
  • Hop On Facility: enables a partner from a Widening country (ie Czech Republic) to join already successful consortium and get a financial support. You can join only collaborative projects from Pillar 2 and EIC Pathfinder Pillar 3 calls (listed on the link below), which do not have a partner from Widening country yet. Apply anytime until 10.11.2022. More information available HERE.
  • Marie Sklodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks 2022: PhD training network based on joint research project conducted by collaborating investigators and their PhD students from min. 3 institutions from min. 3 EU Member or Associated States.   • ERC Consolidator: supports excellent Principal Investigators (8-12 years since PhD defence) to consolidate their teams and perform groundbreaking highly risky research. You can apply for up to 2 mil. EUR for 5 years. Deadline 2.2.2023. More information available HERE.

Application form for approval of changes in MZdr projects (Requests for changes can only be submitted 60 calendar days before the end of the calendar year; if the change concerns an extension of the project duration, the application must be submitted within 90 calendar days before the end of the project)
