Registration fee

For regular participants and students the registration fee for the symposium includes:

Symposium materials, abstracts, ice-break party, refreshments, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, special conference dinner, transport from and to near railway station, parking, accommodation in double room with breakfast.

For accompanying persons the fee includes

ice-break party, refreshments, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, special conference dinner, transport from and to near railway station, parking, accommodation in double room with breakfast.

a) Four nights (from Thursday, June 19th to Monday, June, 23rd)

b) Three nights (from Friday, June, 20th to Monday, June, 23rd)

Field trip

A post-symposium field trip will be organized from June 23rd to 25th. The fee includes two nights with breakfast, transport, field trip guidebook, 3 lunches, 1 dinner; dinner in medieval town Kutná Hora is not included to give the participants a chance to visit local restaurants.

The credit card payment is, unfortunately, impossible. Organizers do apologize to all participants for this
unexpected problem.

Cancellation

Cancellation must be done in written form to the organizers. 80% of the total amount is refunded upon cancellation before May 15th, 2003. No refunds are possible after this date.

Financial assistance

The organizers try to establish a fund to provide financial support for full-time students to attend the symposium. The money would be used to reduce or waive the registration fee and the accommodation expenses. Presentation (talk or poster) of a contribution at the meeting is the necessary prerequisite for the support.

Intending students who wish to make a case for support should send a brief personal letter, explaining their need of the support, on the notepaper of their home institution, with a short recommendation of their supervisor or Head of Department, on the contact address given above before April 15, 2003. Abstracts should be attached to the letter. Please, do not forget to include your e-mail address. The Organizing Committee will decide upon support and the applicants will be informed before April 30th 2003.
