PannFlora

Using native species of Pannonian grasslands in urban green infrastructure and in ecological restoration

Find out more

PannFlora is an international project funded by the Interreg Austria–Czech Republic Programme 2021–2027. It focuses on the restoration and adaptation of wildflower meadows in the Pannonian region of the Czech Republic and Austria. The aim is to create resilient, species-rich meadows that better withstand the effects of climate change, support biodiversity, and improve the quality of green spaces in municipalities and protected areas. The project uses regionally sourced seeds of native Pannonian species, principles of ecological restoration, and low-input management methods.
