Prof. Rothman’s main areas of interest include nutritional ecology and wildlife conservation. She serves as Director of the Human Biology Program and is a core member of the New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology. She studies the ways monkeys and apes meet their nutritional needs when faced with social and ecological constraints in the wild.

Her lecture will be centered on this topic with focus on nutrient balancing.
