Brno City Award
The Brno City Council annually awards the Brno City Award for an important activity or work that has enriched one or more areas of public life and thus contributed to strengthening the good name of the city of Brno.
According to experts from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University, extreme drought is prevailing in several domestic regions. The situation is worst in the south-eastern part of Moravia, where many streams have already dried up. The new Drive Rivers app is designed to monitor the water levels in these streams. Anyone can upload a photo of a stream. The information will then be used by scientists who plan to use it to create a special map. For more details, please watch Events in the Regions.
