The German Federal Foundation for the Environment - DBU offers research stays with scholarships in the Federal Republic of Germany to young researchers in the field of the environment up to 3 years after graduation. The scholarship is suitable for recent graduates of master's and engineering studies, as well as doctoral students.
The scholarship program supports 6–12 month stays at German professional workplaces – at universities, companies, research institutes, non-governmental organizations, authorities, etc. The place of stay can be chosen by the applicants themselves or provided by the DBU according to the applicant's professional interest. Interviews with scholarship applicants will take place in the second half of September 2020. The stay usually begins in February of the following year and the scholarship holder will receive a monthly stipend of € 1,250. The scholarship stay begins in Osnabrück with a 4 week intensive German language course, which takes place in small international groups according to the language level of the scholarship holders. The application can be submitted in German or English.
