The Experientia Foundation announces the next edition of the competition for a three-year start-up grant of CZK 2 million per year for young scientists working in the field of organic, bioorganic or medicinal chemistry. Thanks to this, they motivate top young scientists to return to the Czech Republic after their internship abroad and establish an independent research group at one of the Czech institutes. The host institution also donates an additional CZK 700,000 per year to the grant recipient.
If you are a young scientist (max. 5 years since the completion of your PhD studies) with at least one year of foreign experience, please send your project to the competition for the establishment of your own research group. The competition, which is judged by international reviewers, assesses the quality of the project as well as its ambition and high-risk-high-gain nature.
The deadline for submissions is 15 March 2022. Information on what the project should look like and how to proceed if you are interested in applying can be found on the foundation's website.
