The botanical garden is once again open to visitors

After a forced break, the Botanical Garden of Masaryk University’s Faculty of Science is reopening its gates to visitors as of Monday June 1 2020.

The outdoor and indoor areas will both be open to the public daily from Monday June 1 2020, from 9:00 to 17:00.

While visiting the site, it will be necessary to follow the Garden’s visiting rules and all hygienic and safety instructions (valid from June 1 2020 until further notice).

OUTDOOR spaces:

  • The wearing of a face mask covering the mouth and nose is not required
  • it is recommended to keep a safe distance of about 2 m from other visitors

INDOOR SPACES:

  • A properly fitted face mask covering the mouth and nose is required
  • Visitors must keep a safe distance of about 2 m from other visitors
  • it is advisable to use disinfectant solution on your hands (available in the toilet and at the cash register)
  • we do not recommend touching solid surfaces unnecessarily

We will see how it will be with visiting the greenhouses as reconstruction of the tropical greenhouse will take place this year. We will try to make the greenhouses as accessible as possible.

Admission can be paid by credit/debit card.

Unfortunately, the Exhibition of Carnivorous Plants will not take place this year; however, other planned events should take place without any problems.
