Conventional three electrode setup is favoured in academia, whereas in industry more practical and easier to manufacture electrode setups are sought for. Biamperometry is a promising type of two electrode setup. Our aim is to compare these two approaches, test their limits and define cases best suited for each setup with focus on biosensing.
