Solvent induced nanoparticle luminescence (Nanoparticle luminescence)

The fluorescence of selected nanoparticles in different solvents will be studied, especially in deuterated water. Obtained knowledge will be applied to different fluorescence techniques in order to improve the limit of detection and/or the resolution of selected methods (steady-state and time-resolved luminescence, fluorescence microscopy, capillary electrophoresis, etc.).
