In the end of January 2019 we visited European Commission in Brussels and attended the HRS4R Info-Day.
There were seven speakers from multiple EU countries and participants from universities and research centers located in the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands, Slovenia, and others. Topics of the conference, among otheres, were : Ensuring Excellent Research by Investing in Researchers' Talents, Skills & Career Development - Implementing the Human Resources Strategy.
Inclusive leadership in science quickly proves to be everyday practice — shaping the environment we create for collaboration and performance. That is why at SCI MUNI we organized a workshop focused on concrete tools and agreements that improve both teamwork and scientific outcomes — and we are continuing with further topics and coaching.
Leadership is a key pillar of excellent science. That’s why we organized the conference "How to Handle Leadership", featuring insights from Antarctica, data from the business world, and an honest panel of our own leaders. And because inspiration alone is not enough, we're following up with workshops and coaching.
