In October 2018 we attended Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Annual (MSCA) in Vienna, hosted by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.

We participated in a dedicated workshop: Managing Researcher’s Talents, Skills & Career Development, Implementing the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. Open Science was an important topic of this workshop.

We met our HR Award colleagues from the Mendel University in Brno and University of West Bohemia there.

Opinion of Faculty Employees Matters

In the previous week, all faculty employees received an email on behalf of the Dean of the Faculty of Science asking for their opinion on the people strategy via a questionnaire that can be filled in until 31 October 2023. This questionnaire is anonymous and it takes a maximum of 10 minutes to fill it in.

The Faculty of Science's employee Evaluation Left a Strong Impression at the Resilience & Leadership in Academia Symposium

In September, an international symposium focused on leadership in an academic environment took place in Prague. At this event, the following experts had the opportunity to present their perspectives: Gergely Kováts from Corvinus University Budapest, Daniela Pauknerová from the University of Economics, Bohumil Rezek from the Czech Technical University and Barbora Wahlová from the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University. As part of her presentation, Barbora Wahlová introduced employee evaluation as a management tool.
