Deans of science faculties discuss the lack of teachers

At a recent meeting in Pilsen, the Deans of the various science faculties discussed the lack of science teachers, which is starting to cause significant problems in Czech primary and secondary education and is likely to lead to staff shortages in key professions. This issue has partly been caused by the aging of existing teachers and partly through a lack of interest in the teaching of scientific subjects by the upcoming generation. The science faculties are ready to help solve this problem and have now called on the Ministry of Education to act.
