On Thursday, September 26, 2019, the second year of the BBQ with deans took place. It is an informal meeting of deans and students of campus faculties – Medicine, Science, and Sports Studies – during which students have the opportunity to meet and talk with their dean.
On the same day, a dragon boat race between MENDELU and MUNI took place. MUNI defeated MENDELU, and in the winning team were also our deans and vice-dean Repko. The gentlemen had a busy afternoon, which ended at the BBQ. Later, Martin Bareš, the new rector of MUNI, arrived together with Mrs. Hana Svatoňová, who handed over gold medals to our deans and vice-dean Repko.
Over 600 students came to the event. Thanks to the nice weather, the students stayed at the Campus until 10 PM.
We thank all participants of the event and hope that they enjoyed the BBQ. We would also like to thank the managers of the event. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

A team of botanists has revealed significant changes in the distribution of species in the Czech flora. Their study, published in the international scientific journal Biological Conservation, analyzed the decline and increase of individual plant species in the Czech Republic since 1960.
