Comprehensive research on Diptera of the Podyjí National Park

A comprehensive project aimed to further development of the Czech dipterology, consisting of the following particular projects: (1) the thorough dipterological research in Podyjí National park in co-operation with about 30 external fellow workers, (2) the study of the bionomics of the family Chloropidae, (3) revision of the European species of the genus Tricimba, (Chloropidae), (4) organising of the central European conference on Dipterology including publication of proceedings. The most important outputs from the proposed project: (1a) Diptera of the Podyjí National park, the monograph issued by Masaryk University in Brno, editors: M. Barták and Š. Kubík, about 30 Czech, Slovak or foreign dipterologists will be authors or co-authors of individual chapters, (1b,c,d): synoecological studies of selected families (Empididae, Chloropidae, Hybotidae) based on quantitative biomonitoring samples, results will be published and compared with similar studies from the Šumava Mts (peat-bogs), (2) bionomy and
