Transfer of the know-how, acquired during many years collaboration of the applicant with the laboratory of the foreign co-applicant on the preparation and characterisation of nanostructured multilayers, to the applicant´s laboratory in the Czech Republic and continuation of the started experiments. Measurement of adhesion, wear, friction coefficient, hardness and dynamic impact wear at the laboratory of the co-applicant in Denmark and of the temperature stability at the laboratory of the co-applicant in Brno will enable understanding of the dependence of the measured properties of the studied coatings on the deposition parameters. The obtained properties will lead to the attainment of practically applicable nanostructured multilayers for production of coated tools with low wear, high adhesion and low friction coefficient.
