    Thermodynamics of alloys; experimental and theoretical study of thermodynamics and phase equilibria of multi-component nickel and iron based systems and creep resistant systems; experimental and theoretical study of thermodynamics, phase equilibria and surface processes in lead-free soldering systems and thermoelectric materials on macro- and nano- scale; study of oxidation and diffusion processes in alloys and protective coatings; calculations of thermodynamic properties, phase diagrams and diffusion processes (coupling of semiempirical CALPHAD method and ab initio calculations); mass spectrometry; thermal analysis (DSC / DTA); high-temperature Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry.
